Manzanita Elementary School hosted an evening full of sports-themed science at its STEM night. “It allows them (students) to see how science applies to all kinds of fun stuff that we are doing on a regular basis,” says STEM integration specialist Kelly Taylor.
Students at Manzanita Elementary took part in the third annual Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day, celebrating her courage and legacy. The event honors Ruby’s role in the civil rights movement.
